Founded by Pauline Knowles—a local Realtor and SLO County native—Co-Host Collective brings hands-on experience in real estate and short-term rental management. Pauline began by managing six of her own vacation rentals, gaining first-hand insight into what it takes to operate successful investment properties. As the business has grown to include additional homes, each property continues to receive the same level of care and attention.
Short-term rental management can be complex. Co-Host Collective supports property owners with the systems, knowledge, and services needed to operate efficiently and confidently. We manage the day-to-day operations of your vacation rental, including guest communication, bookings, maintenance coordination, and on-site support across platforms such as Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com.
Our focus is on performance. By delivering a consistently strong guest experience, we help improve ratings, visibility, and booking potential. Design guidance and interior styling support are also available to help your property stand out in a competitive market—allowing you to focus on the long-term value of your investment on California’s Central Coast.
About Pauline Knowles
Pauline Knowles is a seasoned real estate professional whose passion for the industry began early—starting with her first investment property at just 20 years old. Her career has been shaped by hands-on experience, curiosity, and a genuine interest in how properties function, perform, and evolve over time.
Licensed in California since 2012 and Nevada since 2005, Pauline has helped hundreds of buyers and sellers navigate their real estate goals. She has personally flipped more than 50 residential properties, giving her a strong eye for design along with deep, practical knowledge of construction and renovation.
Today, Pauline manages multiple vacation rental properties and brings extensive experience with platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo. She has also been invited to serve as an Airbnb International Ambassador—an opportunity extended to a small group of trusted industry professionals. Her background spans a wide range of real estate disciplines, including foreclosures, short sales, new construction, commercial real estate, asset and fund management, private capital placement, and property tax appeals.
